Add a working contact form
Drop in form blocks and start receiving submissions.
-
Add the fields
In the Elements tab you will find form building blocks: text input, textarea, dropdown, checkbox, radio, file upload, and a form container to hold them.
-
Wrap them in a form container
Place a form container first, then nest your fields inside it. This is what makes the fields submit together.
-
Label everything
Edit each field's label and placeholder by double-clicking, and mark which fields are required.
-
Test a submission
Publish the page, submit the form yourself, and confirm the entry arrives in your inbox area. Never ship a form you have not tested.
-
Long forms
If you have more than about six fields, use the multi-step form block so visitors see progress instead of a wall of inputs.
Good to know
- Ask for the least you need - every extra field costs you submissions.
- Give the submit button a specific label such as 'Request a quote' rather than 'Submit'.
