Our mission

Kit that outlasts its owner

We started in a harbour workshop with one waxed canvas bag and a stubborn dislike of throwaway outdoor gear. Fifteen years on, the same eight people still cut, sew and repair every piece we sell.

It shapes which materials we buy, what we refuse to make, and why nothing leaves without a repair ticket.

Clarity over cleverness

If a user needs a manual to use it, the design is not finished.

Customers in the room

Every release is reviewed with the people who have to live with it.

Own the outcome

No ticket ping-pong. The person closest to the problem fixes it.

01 · Materials

Chosen for a decade of use

Waxed 18oz canvas, 190gsm merino and three-layer membranes. No coated polyester, no planned obsolescence.

02 · Making

Cut and sewn in small batches

Eight people, two machines, one workshop on the harbour. Batches of forty, checked by hand before they ship.

03 · Repair

Sent back, fixed, returned

Zips, panels and seams are repairable for the life of the product. Post it to us and we will turn it around in a week.
