Undo mistakes and restore an older version
Two safety nets: undo while you work, version history after you save.
-
Undo and redo
Ctrl+Z undoes the last action and Ctrl+Shift+Z redoes it. The toolbar buttons do the same. Undo covers a long run of edits, so a bad click is never fatal.
-
Version history
Every time you save, the platform stores a version of the page. Open the version history from the page menu to see what changed and when.
-
Restore a version
Restore puts that saved state back on the canvas. Save afterwards to make the restore permanent.
-
If something looks broken
Try undo first, then restore the most recent good version. Both are faster and safer than rebuilding the section.
Good to know
- Save before big changes; each save is a restore point.
- A restore is itself an edit - you can undo it if you change your mind.
